The Dillweed B&B and The Ghost Town Trail

Dillweed is located at the beginning of the Ghost Town Trail, an historic
rail-trail project. The limestone-surfaced trail
meanders by once-thriving mining communities,
following the Blacklick Creek. The natural beauty
of the trail invites hiking, cycling, and cross-country
skiing.

The Ghost Town Trail is a multi-use recreational
trail suitable for walking, biking, jogging, hiking,
horseback riding, and cross-country skiing.

Converted from an abandoned railroad line by Indiana County Parks,
the trail extends East of Dilltown, through the sites of once-booming coal
mining towns abandoned in the 1930's.
